How the Littleton Select Board voted, from the Select Board’s official minutes. 5 Select Board members elected townwide for three-year terms. Kyle Bubp joined the board after the May 2026 town election (first meeting May 11, 2026), succeeding Matthew Nordhaus. On May 11, 2026 the board unanimously chose Gary Wilson as Chair (5-0), and Chuck DeCoste as Vice Chair and Mark Rambacher as Clerk (5-0). From June 2026 the minutes are written as summaries and several do not list who attended. Minutes after September 28, 2026 are not posted yet. The end date is a placeholder. What does the Select Board do? It is the town’s executive board. It prepares the Town Meeting warrant (the list of articles voters decide), appoints members of many town boards, hires the town’s top staff, signs warrants to pay town bills, and grants licenses and permits.
Town Meeting, not the Select Board, votes the town budget and town bylaws.

Members are counted only for meetings held while they served, and arriving late counts as attending. The minutes rarely say why a member was absent. Not shown: 2018, 2020, because too many of that year’s meetings are missing from the posted minutes.

Loaded: Littleton Select Board minutes from February 26, 2018 through September 28, 2026: 265 meetings and 2,435 votes. Minutes from 2014 to 2022 are in the town’s Laserfiche portal and from 2022 on in its Agenda Center; MassVoter loaded January 2018 on, but the Laserfiche 2018 folder starts on February 26, 2018, so the meetings of January 8 and 22 and February 12, 13 and 22, 2018 are missing. The minutes call the board the Board of Selectmen through June 8, 2020 and the Select Board from June 29, 2020 on. The 2018-2019 minutes are typed documents; the 2020-2022 Laserfiche minutes are imaged pages with a stored text layer; two Agenda Center files are Word documents (the same minutes are also posted as PDFs, which we used). Not here: executive-session minutes; votes of the Finance Committee, Planning Board, Board of Health, Housing Authority, Park and Recreation Commission and other boards at joint meetings (joint appointments that both boards vote on are shown with the Select Board members’ votes); Planning Board and other boards’ minutes that were posted in the Select Board’s slot; and meetings with an agenda but no posted minutes, among them many 2018-2022 dates in the Laserfiche agenda folder, September 2, 2025, March 2, 2026 and May 5, 2026. Minutes after September 28, 2026 are not posted yet. Littleton’s minutes name the mover and seconder and give the count (“Motion passed 5 to 0”); a count that matches the members present with no no votes is shown as every member present voting yes. Roll calls by name (used for remote meetings from 2020 and whenever a member takes part remotely, “Roll Call Vote: Gary Wilson no, Chuck DeCoste no …”) are shown by name, and members named as voting no or abstaining are shown that way. Where a split count names no one we show the count only, with a note (68 votes), and where the minutes give no count or names (“it was VOTED”, “motion passed”) we show the result only (61 votes). From June 2026 the minutes are written as summaries and several do not list who attended; we count a member present only when the minutes show that member taking part, and where they do not show every member, votes recorded only as “carried unanimously” are shown as the result only (30 votes, at the August 31, September 23 and September 28, 2026 meetings and the February 4, 2026 budget meeting). Members who recused themselves are not shown in that vote; members who arrived late or left early are left out of votes whose count shows they were not there. A motion with no recorded outcome is not counted as a vote. We will ask the town to confirm any noted vote.
Most board votes are unanimous. These are the ones where at least one member voted no or abstained, newest first.
