What does the Selectboard do? It is the town’s executive board. Town Meeting, not the Selectboard, votes the town budget and town bylaws.

Ballot quizzes use only the candidates’ own words and the official Information for Voters guide. Selectboard votes come from the Edgartown Selectboard’s official minutes; State House votes from the Massachusetts Legislature’s roll calls. MassVoter never grades officials or endorses anyone; votes and attendance are shown exactly as the minutes record them.
