“MOTION: Based on the considerations discussed, to grant the fee waiver as requested. Motion by: Mike Stone Seconded by: Mark Forest Discussion: Selectwoman Post asked if it would be for all forty-five units or just the forty units located at the Winslow Gray Road property. Selectman Stone replied, for all. Selectman Smith asked how many of the units did the State usually inspect annually. Ms. Ohlson replied, usually five out of the forty. Ms. Post said she wanted to ensure that the units were deemed safe, and the Chairman agreed, saying it would be helpful if there were a more rigorous process followed, providing inspections that met the requirements to the satisfaction of the Board of Health. The five-unit group home would continue to have the annual Town Team Inspection, but they hoped the Board of Health and Housing Authority could work out the inspection certification of the other forty units. Selectman Stone was asked to consider amending his motion. AMENDED MOTION: Based on the considerations discussed, to waive the fee for the forty units located at 534 Winslow Gray Road, and not to waive the fee for the five units located at the Station Avenue property. This would be subject to the Housing Authority providing certification that the forty units at 534 Winslow Gray Road meeting the Board of Health inspection requirements. Motion by: Mike Stone Seconded by: Mark Forest Vote: 5 ayes; 0 nays. The motion passed unanimously..” (Motion: Stone, second: Forest)
