To endorse the DHY Agreement as drafted and to place it on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant.
“MOTION: To endorse the DHY Agreement as drafted and to place it on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Motion by: Dan Horgan Seconded by: Tracy Post Discussion: In answer to Selectman Post's question, Town Administrator Knapik stated that all three towns had to agree to the endorsement of the agreement, or the agreement would be void. A side agreement would define the terms of the details with regard to the golf course. Mr. Knapik noted that the Towns of Harwich and Dennis were aware that they would be facing the same concerns at a later phase that Yarmouth had faced in the beginning, and that cross-town cooperation was essential for the success of the project. Selectman Horgan saw this agreement as an opportunity for developing a better, more positive relationship with neighboring towns and a step forward for the willingness of all parties to work together for the common good of all three towns.
