Yes: Horgan, Post, Stone, TolleyAbstained: Forest

From the minutes

“MOTION: To approve the conservation restriction. Motion by: Daniel Horgan Seconded by: Mike Stone Discussion: Mr. Tolley requested that the hunting rights to the property, if done legally and with proper safety clearances to households, be maintained to allow access to the property. He noted that while hunting was not allowed prior to the sale, if the property is to be transferred with some benefit, they lose the right to object to hunting. The property would be under the control of the Native Land Conservancy, which typically preserves hunting rights and hunting access. Passive outdoor recreation of the property is under the discretion of the owner. Selectman Tolley stated that he wanted to go on record that, if deemed possible, that hunting be allowed. Selectman Stone stated that since there is overriding language about determination of purpose of conservation restriction, it gives the owner a wide latitude to determine use. Vote: 4 - ayes; 0 - nays; 1 - abstention (Mark Forest). The motion passed..” (Motion: Horgan, second: Stone)
