How the West Bridgewater Board of Selectmen voted, from the Board of Selectmen’s official minutes. 3 Selectmen elected townwide to 3-year terms. After the April 11, 2026 town election, the board chose Michael A. Perez as Chairman, Marcie M. Lee as Vice-Chairman and Jeffrey P. Ryan as Clerk on April 22, 2026. Minutes are posted through June 10, 2026. Covers 5 meetings so far, April 22 to July 15, 2026.
A monthly email on what it voted on, starting in November.
What does the Board of Selectmen do? It is the town’s executive board. It prepares the Town Meeting warrant (the list of articles voters decide), appoints members of many town boards, hires the town’s top staff, signs warrants to pay town bills, and grants licenses and permits.
Town Meeting, not the Board of Selectmen, votes the town budget and town bylaws.

How the town can raise its score
Posted quickly (+1): Post minutes within 30 days. If approval takes longer, post a draft marked “Draft – not yet approved” and replace it later.
Readable text (+1): Save minutes straight from Word or Google Docs as a PDF instead of printing and scanning them. If a scan is needed, turn on the scanner’s “searchable PDF” or text-recognition setting.
In West Bridgewater, Town Meeting — not the Board of Selectmen — votes the town budget, bylaws and zoning. Here is what it did with each article, in the Town Clerk’s own words. Any registered voter can take part, and most votes are by voice or show of hands, so there is no list of who voted which way.

Not here yet: the January 31, 2026 Special Town Meeting and the May 11, 2026 Annual Town Meeting (only the warrants are posted; the Town Clerk's minutes for meetings after 2021 appear only in the Annual Town Report).
Titles are short descriptions of each article from the official record; the quoted words are the Town Clerk’s. A vote at Town Meeting is not the final word on everything: some articles also need a ballot vote (such as a tax override) or the Attorney General’s approval (bylaws).
"At X of Y meetings" counts the members the minutes list as present at the start of each meeting in this record. Members who step out are listed on each meeting page.
Attendance
13 full-board meetings so far this year, through July 15. Ties share a rank.
From the official minutes: full-board meetings only (committee meetings are not counted). Members are counted only for meetings held while they served, and arriving late counts as attending. The minutes rarely say why a member was absent.
A monthly email on its votes and who was there, starting in November.

About missing minutes
Loaded: every Board of Selectmen meeting with minutes on the town website from January 2021 through June 10, 2026, plus the February 18, 2026 meeting (with the Planning Board) and the July 15, 2026 meeting, whose minutes the Board of Selectmen office emailed to MassVoter on October 5, 2026 in answer to a public records request (they are not on the town website yet; MassVoter keeps a copy, linked on each meeting). Thank you to the office for the quick reply. Not here yet: the August 19 and September 23, 2026 minutes, which the Board has not approved yet. October 20, 2025, January 31, 2026 and May 11, 2026 were Town Meetings, not Board meetings. Minutes from 2015 to 2020 are online but not loaded yet. Since February 2022 the posted minutes are scans of the signed copies, which we read with text recognition, so some words may read awkwardly; each vote quotes the minutes. Most votes read “so voted unanimously” and are shown as every member present voting yes; split votes name who voted no or give a roll call by name, and are shown as recorded. Members who stepped aside (recused) are left out of that vote. Where the minutes say “unanimously” but print a roll call that shows a no vote or an abstention (February 17 and April 7, 2021; March 11, 2026), we follow the roll call and say so on the vote. Votes by other boards at joint meetings and motions with no recorded vote are not listed.
