To authorize town counsel to negotiate with Attorney Clifford as to the terms of the separation, working with the chair and within the terms of the manager's contract, and to return to the board with a proposal.

The minutes give only the count (4-0-1), not how each member voted. 4 members were present. The minutes name Nancy Medoff as the mover, but Nancy Medoff is not on the attendance line, so no mover is shown.

From the minutes

“Clerk Medoff made a motion to authorize town counsel to negotiate with Attorney Clifford as to the terms of the separation, working with the chair and within the terms of the manager's contract, and to return to the board with a proposal. Member Girard-Irwin seconded the motion. Member Rein asked to remove the "within the terms of the contract" to allow the board to consider offering more than the terms specified in the contract. Clerk Medoff amended her motion. Roll call vote: 4-0-1.” (second: Girard-Irwin)
