How the Sharon Select Board voted, from the Select Board’s official minutes. 5 Select Board members elected townwide for three-year terms (3 members until May 2025). The board grew from three to five members at the May 20, 2025 town election, when Kiana Pierre-Louis was re-elected and Pasqualino Pannone and Sam Liao joined. On May 27, 2025 the board chose Kiana Baskin (formerly Pierre-Louis) as Chair, Hanna Switlekowski as Vice Chair and Xander Shapiro as Clerk (5-0). Covers 22 meetings, May 27 to May 12, 2026.
A monthly email on what it voted on, starting in November.
What does the Select Board do? It is the town’s executive board. It prepares the Town Meeting warrant (the list of articles voters decide), appoints members of many town boards, hires the town’s top staff, signs warrants to pay town bills, and grants licenses and permits.
Town Meeting, not the Select Board, votes the town budget and town bylaws.

"At X of Y meetings" counts the members the minutes list as present at the start of each meeting in this record. Members who step out are listed on each meeting page.
Loaded: Sharon Select Board minutes from January 7, 2025 through September 14, 2026, including joint meetings with the School Committee, the Planning Board and the Finance Committee (only the Select Board members’ votes are shown). These come from the town’s Agenda Center, which holds the board’s minutes from January 2025 on. Not here: minutes from before 2025, which were on the town’s old website (townofsharon.net) and are no longer online (MassVoter has asked the town for them); March 24 and April 14, 2026, whose “minutes” links open the agenda instead; and meetings after September 14, 2026 (the September 23 and 24, 2026 minutes are not posted yet). Sharon’s minutes list each member’s vote by name on almost every motion (“Baskin: AYE - Switlekowski: AYE - Shapiro: AYE - Pannone: AYE - Liao: AYE 5-0 PASSES”), and we show each vote as recorded. A few February 2025 votes give only a count (“3-0 PASSES”) that matches the three members present, so each is shown voting yes. Members a roll call leaves out are not shown as voting, with a note. Two motions with no vote recorded (November 4 and November 18, 2025) are not shown. Kiana Baskin served as Kiana Pierre-Louis until May 2025. We will ask the town to confirm any noted vote.
Most board votes are unanimous. These are the ones where at least one member voted no or abstained, newest first.
