Ice storms can cost money. Weekend storms. DPW has started a new tracking program. GPS units in DPW and private contractor vehicles. Councilor Goldstein - Do any storms qualify for reimbursement? “Councilor Burgess - So moved the recommendation, seconded by Councilor Egan. Councilor Burgess - A couple of years ago we engaged a person to do whatever, how is this different? Town Manager Murphy - There is some product that exists from that but this is more economic development than branding. Reaching out saying we are Randolph and we are open for business. Last one was more branding and logo. Councilor Burgess - How will we get feedback from Redevelopment Authority and Planning? Town Manager Murphy - Update piece is the goal. News coverage, story placement, reaching out to the media and figure out how do we market the economic development. Effort much broader. Councilor Clifton - Understand there might be federal funds through certain banks where funds can be secured. We as a unique community in Randolph might qualify for those federal funds through these banks. Per capita income, need to make sure we get funds from wherever.
