Approve 2020-130 - Order - Land Disposition Agreement, Parcel R2, R3, Hancock Parking Lot
Motion to approve by Councillor Harris, Seconded by Councillor McCarthy Councillor Mahoney questioned if all tenants have been negotiated with on relocation, updates that have been made. Councillor Palmucci questioned the timeframe to complete and that there is no reverter in this LDA but the City keeps their deposit $55,000 if they do not meet the deadline. This LDA allows for the properties to revert unlike the FoxRock LDA. The City could be responsible for relocation cost if LBC defaults and is unable to fulfill its obligation. LBC will be working with the remaining tenants to come to agreements like how they have previously had worked with tenants in the previous LDA. They have been in communications with all tenants and land swap is the key to moving forward.
The minutes give only the count (8-1), not how each councillor voted.
