Discussion: Mr. Crowley stated that he is satisfied based on his discussions with Ms. Rossi and Ms. Harrington that Parks can support the operating expenses relative to their usage of the building. He does not want Town funds utilized for that specific purpose. He noted the big-ticket items, i.e., new roof would still be the Town’s responsibility. Ms. Rossi explained the way their budget is broken down and asked if the Select Board would like to see the revenue generated from the VFW. There was further discussion about information if any, the Select Board would like relative to the Parks covering the operating expenses and the handling of any revenues generated by any licensees. Mr. Crowley asked for confirmation that they will not be utilizing any funds in the field’s stabilization fund for these operating expenses including future funding of this account. Ms. Rossi confirmed. Mr. Crowley asked for confirmation that any of the programs planned will not impact the Town’s liability relative to the care and custody of children in these programs. Ms. Harrington confirmed there would be no impact. VOTE: 5-0-0.” (Motion: Alessandri, second: Trindade)
