Motion to enter executive session pursuant M.G.L. c.30A, §21(a) (purpose 3) to discuss strategy with respect to settlement of potential litigation involving a Union Member as an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body; an executive session is necessary to protect the litigation position of the body, to allow Norman Khumalo, Elaine Lazarus, Donna Brewer, Nicholas Anastosopolous and Joseph Bennett to participate in the executive session, and to adjourn the Select Board meeting at the conclusion of executive session and not to convene in Open Session at the conclusion of executive session

“motion to enter executive session pursuant M.G.L. c.30A, §21(a) (purpose 3) to discuss strategy with respect to settlement of potential litigation involving a Union Member as an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body; an executive session is necessary to protect the litigation position of the body, to allow Norman Khumalo, Elaine Lazarus, Donna Brewer, Nicholas Anastosopolous and Joseph Bennett to participate in the executive session, and to adjourn the Select Board meeting at the conclusion of executive session and not to convene in Open Session at the conclusion of executive session.
