That the Select Board take no action on the Discharge of Firearms bylaw this year and to remove it from the 2021 annual town meeting warrant. Mr. Nasrullah stated that he brought this issue up over a year ago, so complaints should be directed at him rather than Mr. Mastroianni. He stated that on the topic itself, it makes sense to open this up to develop a solution where hunters can hunt but someone can also sit in their yard and not hear gunshots all the time. He stated he doesn't know if the warrant article as drafted would address this. Mr. Herr stated he would like the discussions to continue for potential action at a future town meeting. Mr. Nasrullah stated the problem isn't hunters who don't empty a full magazine, it is other shooting that is occurring. Ms. LaFreniere agreed. Ms. Ritterbusch stated that there needs to be more time to find a good solution. She stated that there are many people present at the meeting to comment on this issue, and she is in favor of having a short comment period, even though the Board may vote to remove it from the warrant
