That the Select Board adopt the December 4 Pledge. Mr. Nasrullah stated he understands community comments and concerns regarding the MAPC Pledge, but there is a need to understand that systemic problems can exist throughout town government, not just at the Police Dept. and we need everyone's help to make changes. He stated he wants people to come together and act together. He stated he has heard from people that it is in the schools and elsewhere, and all people need to jump in and address it wherever it occurs. He stated he is in full support of the Dec. 4 version. Mr. Herr stated the MAPC Pledge is similar, but the Dec. 4 one is a good clear message to ourselves and the professional teams as to how the Town should go further. He stated it is a clear message and he is in full support. Ms. LaFreniere stated she is absolutely in favor of it. She stated that she hopes that once passed, the discussion will continue as things arise, and that we will remind people constantly about it. Ms. Ritterbusch stated she likes the revised pledge, that all are included, and the reference to the Town Charter. She asked about revising it to specifically mention the Police Dept., and she would be in support of that
