$99,000 to Article #3 from Article #4
Move the $99,000 to Article #3 from Article #4. Germain stated this maintains the way the town does things and doesn't set a precedent for future needs. The former TA is currently being paid through payroll and in the big picture it is a two-year contract and then it ends so it can be funded differently next year. This makes everything more transparent. Germain & Holmes both stated if the former TA payout is moved out of the payroll, the Dept. of Revenue would not approve of this

Remove Articles #9 & #10 to the fall town meeting
Remove Articles #9 & #10 to the fall town meeting. Belbin recommends waiting to see where Wareham votes on this. If there is no district, the town will need to go to individual haulers. It would take a preferred hauler for the town 9 months to set up. Belbin would like to work with Marion to find a solution to leave the district. If these articles are brought forward and voted in favor by Wareham, the dismantling and sale needs to begin. Belbin feels the best decision for the town would be to wait on this and see how Wareham votes and negotiate with Marion. TA agrees that working in cooperation with Wareham is in the best interest of the town. Hewins stated another reason to wait is that all towns are needed to dissolve the agreement. Belbin stated the first step is to work with Wareham
