What it means
This bill lets Nantucket County transfer three parcels on Washington Street (numbers 104, 109 and part of 111) to the town of Nantucket for open space and recreation. It then lets the town sell or otherwise dispose of part of the 111 Washington Street parcel for open space and conservation purposes, on terms the selectmen choose, under the state's public bidding law (chapter 30B). It takes effect when passed.
