What it means
Lets the state's capital asset management division grant or change permanent easements to NSTAR Electric Company (Eversource Energy) over about 3.521 acres of state wildlife land at 726 Sandwich Road in Bourne, for electric lines and substation equipment. Eversource must pay at least the appraised value (reviewed by the Inspector General), cover all costs, and restore the land after work. In exchange, Eversource also releases its easement over about 6.035 acres of the same property, which the state's fisheries and wildlife division will keep permanently for conservation.
