What it means
This bill lets the city of Cambridge use about 3,801 square feet of city open recreation land near the corner of Cambridge Street and Hampshire Street for a traffic redesign. When the work is done, the city must dedicate another 3,801 square feet nearby as public open recreation land, so there is no net loss of open space. It takes effect only if the Cambridge City Council accepts it.
