What they voted on
Final approval before the bill goes to the Governor
Official wording: H.4268, Question on passing the bill to be enacted (2/3) Senate
Passed
What it means
Rewrites a 2003 law (chapter 38 of the acts of 2003) on an easement swap with the Department of Conservation and Recreation in Lynn, replacing the city of Lynn with Lynn Redevelopment LLC as the party. The company must give the state new conservation and access easements, including about 2.81 acres for conservation and an 11-space public parking area, and convey a parcel at 1-19 Exchange Street in escrow with a park-only restriction. The company must post financial security for required improvements, finish them within a period set by the state of up to 36 months (which may be extended for good cause), and pay prevailing wages for that construction.
