What it means

This bill adds biometric information to the state's data breach law. It defines a biometric indicator as a unique physical trait that can confirm a person's identity, such as fingerprints, genetic information, iris or retina patterns, voice, facial features or hand shape, and adds it to a list of information covered by that law.
