What it means

A House order setting the rules for debating the fiscal year 2019 state budget. It sets an amendment filing deadline of 5:00 P.M. on Friday, April 13, 2018, says revenue amendments must come before the third reading and other amendments after it, and requires consolidated amendments from Ways and Means to carry a fiscal note and not be divided. It also rules out of order amendments that touch certain listed laws, including chapter 64N and chapter 94G of the General Laws.
