Motion made and 2nd to send a communication to the owner/landlord via certified mail requesting the following: 1. Landlord grants access to the Board of Health, Fire Department, and Building Department (Inspectional Services), both inside and outside the property, immediately; 2. The backyard be cleared of all debris, including removing the pool; 3. All mold and mildew will be removed; 4. Landlord agrees to purchase waste receptacles with lids for the trash produced on property; and 5. All of the above will be completed within two weeks. Before the vote was called to a vote, Councilor Ferullo stated he was concerned that the City Council should probably use the formal reports from the departments for a baseline and have legal standing to move this forward. Councilor Mercer-Bruen stated building has a legal right and that the neighbors need this. The motion was then called to a vote, all in favor, 9-0.
