Minutes, page 3

ApprovePassed · Unanimous, 8 present

Motion by the Finance Committee with a Positive Recommendation that the Town Council Vote to Appropriate Certified Free Cash

The motion came from a council committee, so no mover or seconder is named.

From the minutes

“Motion by the Finance Committee with a Positive Recommendation that the Town Council Vote to Appropriate Certified Free Cash No 2™ Needed Discussion Council President discusses Free Cash as we don't know year to year what it will be. There are no guarantees. To set aside 10% prior to stabilization funds helps with costs not expected. DPW Director reports we are close to $300,000 with the snow removal so far this year. Operating budget is close to $70 Million. Councilor Tassinari reports of Council President reporting on the funding in the stabilization and ending balances and have 13-13.5%, which is very good. Very good for our town bonding. This is a good policy that was put in place. Councilor Costigan Yes Councilor Tassinari Yes Councilor Millar Yes Councilor Romano Yes Councilor Dimes Yes Councilor Reardon Yes Vice President Swope Yes President Letterie Yes Motion Passes.”
