Motion by the Rules & Ordinance to amend the table in Section 10-32.10 titled Schedule C as the following: Subsection C during calendar year 2021, the area between Hagman Rd. and Woodside Ave known as French Square will be considered a municipal lot.

The motion came from a council committee, so no mover or seconder is named.

From the minutes

“Motion by the Rules & Ordinance to amend the table in Section 10-32.10 titled Schedule C as the following: Subsection C during calendar year 2021, the area between Hagman Rd. and Woodside Ave known as French Square will be considered a municipal lot. Discussion Councilor Letterie states his intention on this lot was mainly for a snow emergency and does this amendment the same as all municipal lots for snow emergency? If there is a parking ban can people park in French Sq. The main reason he brought up was just for the DPW to be able to clean the lot. Chief Delehanty asked if this is being declared a municipal lot? If So, it falls under the same as all municipal lots. Maybe a sign could be made by DPW. Director Calla agrees he will order and do as soon as possible. Approve: Councilor Ruggiero, Councilor Flockhart, Councilor Demarco, Councilor Letterie, Councilor Honan, Councilor LoConte, Councilor Ferrino, Council Vice President Peter Christopher, President Philip Boncore Motion Passes 9-0.”
