Walsh moved to authorize Town Counsel to go into Superior Court to seek injunctive relief from the current by-law requirement for quorum of 175 registered voters to be present, to be able to conduct the business of town meeting on June 8, 2020. Amended to allow Town Counsel to seek 25% of the 175 quorum, or 44 residents, registered voters.

“M. Walsh moved to authorize Town Counsel to go into Superior Court to seek injunctive relief from the current by-law requirement for quorum of 175 registered voters to be present, to be able to conduct the business of town meeting on June 8, 2020. Amended to allow Town Counsel to seek 25% of the 175 quorum, or 44 residents, registered voters. J. Hickey Seconded. Unanimous Vote 3-0. M. Walsh, aye. J. Hickey, aye. N. Hyde, aye.
