“Upon a motion by Ms. Freiman, and seconded by Mr. Ulfelder, Ms. Aufranc was nominated as Secretary effective July 1, 2025. During discussion on this motion, it was noted that the Select Board Handbook identifies that the departing Chair typically assumes the position of Secretary. Ms. Sullivan Woods suggested revisiting that provision, noting that over the past 15 years, the Chair has not been Secretary nine times. Ms. Aufranc noted in general the outgoing Chair has taken the position of Secretary unless leaving the Board or staying in the Chair position, with the exception of Ms. Sullivan Woods' extended term as Secretary. The Board voted 3-2 to elect Ms. Aufranc as Secretary. Aufranc - Aye Freiman - Aye Largess - No Sullivan - No Ulfelder - Aye.” (Motion: Freiman, second: Ulfelder)
