They begin the process to work together to come up with the TIF and get it back to the Board in a timely manner so it can be put on an agenda and be voted
Mr. Mokrisky made a motion that they begin the process to work together to come up with the TIF and get it back to the Board in a timely manner so it can be put on an agenda and be voted. He asked that they look at this on a night when their attention could be focused just on this so that they can be ready to sign immediately. Ms. Roberts seconded the motion, Dr. Grimm suggested this be done as soon as possible so the group can present to FinCom and get this in time for the warrant. She asked that the timeline be kept in mind. Discussion followed. Chair Howe would be looking for an actual draft agreement written by Counsel, she stated. Lynn commented that the Board would need to recommend a proposed TIF to Town Meeting and it typically is signed following Town Meeting because Town Meeting would be authorizing the Board to execute the TIF Agreement. Mr. Mokrisky had concern with the Board standing together united at Town Meeting so it sails through. Mr. Mokrisky suggested that they include a particular date to have a TIF Agreement reviewed or written by Counsel for the Board to review. Mr. Cavey agreed. Mr. O'Regan agreed and asked Town Manager if Counsel had already been engaged in drafting the TIF Agreement. Ms. Tokarcezyk replied that their firm was in the process of writing the draft and would forward to Town Manager and Town Counsel. She mentioned working very closely with Kopelman and Paige. Mr. O'Regan urged that they request the draft agreement be presented to the Boar
