At Selectman Iaquinto's request, Chair Canty summarized the process of opening and closing the Town Meeting Warrant. Chair Canty summarized that, because Plymouth has a representative Town Meeting form of government, we have Town Meetings every Fall and every April; the Town Meeting warrant establishes what is going to be heard at the Town Meeting. Town departments, boards/committees, the schools, and citizens are able to submit Articles for Town Meeting when the warrant opens and need to have all materials finalized for their submission(s) by the close of the warrant. Roll Call 4/0: Canty-Yes, Golden-Yes, Iaquinto-Yes, Keohan-Yes, Quintal-Absent.” (Motion: Golden, second: Iaquinto)
