From the minutes

“Chair Quintal made a motion to amend the original motion, with a 6-month probation period and the possibility of a 3-day suspension if a violation occurs within the 6-month period. Vice Chair Canty seconded the motion. Selectman Golden stated that he believes this motion to be an overcorrection. Selectman Bletzer stated that he does not believe there was a violation by Proof 22 related to this incident. Selectman Mahoney agreed that at this point all that is needed is additional training, stating that just a few years ago the patron might have just been thrown out onto the sidewalk. The Board first voted on the motion to amend the main motion - to find Proof 22 in violation and require that they provide an updated security plan to be submitted to the Town within 14 days, with a 6-month probation period and the possibility of a 3-day suspension if a violation occurs within the 6-month period. Roll Call 2/3: Quintal-Yes, Canty-Yes, Bletzer-No, Golden-No, Mahoney-No.” (Motion: Quintal, second: Canty)
