From the minutes

“MR. CHAIRMAM, I MOVE TO RECESS TO TOWN MEETING FLOOR. MOTION BY: MR. STUTO SECONDED BY: MR. WALLNER Mr. Masse informed the Select Board on his intent to make an amendment to Article 18-FY 2026 CAPITAL EXPENDITURES to decrease by $50K for the purpose of purchasing new street signs for the Town of North Reading. Chairman O'Leary informed that normally this would go through the Capital Improvement Planning Committee for their vetting. He added he just heard of Mr. Masse's intent that morning and it is not a good time to bring it up. Attorney Darren Klein offered that the decision is up to the Moderator of if it's in the scope & he thinks that Mr. Masse's Motion to Amend would be in the scope. Mr. Masse wants to be treated fair.
