“Mr. Zoll moved to approve the request for Services for an Architect for the new school building project. The motion was seconded by Ms. Bradley. Ms. Musto suggested that the Select Board temporarily refrain from moving forward until the Massachusetts School Building Authority, MSBA determines if they will support the Town's Statement of Interest or not. A response is expected in mid-December. Upon further discussion, the Members agreed that it would be beneficial to include a clause that would allow the Town to halt current activity if the MSBA rules in Milton's favor and continue its current course if the MSBA does not. Chair Zullas offered a friendly amendment: provided Milton receives funding from the MSBA, current activity will cease and if Milton's initiative is not supported then the Town can continue its current course of action. The friendly amendment was approved by Mr. Zoll and Ms. Bradley. The Board voted unanimously, all in favor to approve..” (second: Bradley)
