Select Board Member B. Giovanoni suggested linking this by-law to the town website. White stated this event sounds fun as Coffee Milano has put Middleborough on the map all over the country recently. “Upon motion made by Select Board Member B. Giovanoni and seconded by Select Board Member T Farley. Town Manager J. McGrail stated this is the closing of the town owned property. Two Request of Proposals (RFP's) were issued and the Town went through procurement. Went through due diligence process with the purchaser and the Town was able to remediate some of the issues that came up during that process by lowering the purchase price. Select Board B. Giovanoni stated this is pursuant to Article 23 of the April 24th 2023 Annual Town Meeting. The Board voted unanimously to executive the deed for the Sale of Land for 10 and 15 Station Street and 2 Cambridge Street and authorize the Town Manager to sign final closing documents on behalf of the Select Board..” (Motion: Giovanoni, second: Farley)
