A motion was made by Councillor Crowe, seconded by Councillor Winslow, that Section 300.30 (f) of the Ordinance be amended as follows: "the location of a Marijuana Establishment shall comply with the following buffer zones, all distances as measured from the closest property line of the proposed Marijuana Establishment to the closest property line of a property that as of the date of filing of the petition for a special permit for the Marijuana Establishment is lawfully used for the following. No Marijuana Establishment shall be located within: i. 75-500 feet of a Substance Abuse Treatment Center, as defined by this Ordinance; ii. 500-500 feet of a public or private school providing education in kindergarten, or Grade 1-12; iii. 50-500 feet of any residence; iv. 75-500 feet of any park or playground; v. 75-500 feet from the religious facility; and vi. 0-500 feet from a daycare".
