Mr. Cunningham made a motion pursuant to Section 15 of Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2022, as extended by Section 44B of Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 that the quorum for the Town of Groton May 18, 2024, Special Town Meeting be set at 50.

From the minutes

“Mr. Mr. Pisani seconded the motion. Discussion Mr. Kauppi, the Town Moderator, stated that he supported the motion and agreed with Ms. Pine. He explained that at the end of the Warrant, there would be a vote on a specific article that would affect and potentially cause problems for the homeowner if the Special Town Meeting lost its quorum. He didn't see any reason to oppose it. The motion carried unanimously..” (Motion: Cunningham, second: Pisani)
