“Moved by Michael Cannon; seconded by Janet Leombruno to Approve that the City council vote to appropriate $650,000 from the Affordable Housing Funds for the acquisition of 499 Central Street for municipal purposes, and for the payment of costs incidental and related thereto, to be spent under the direction of the Mayor or the Mayor’s designee; that the single family residential structure on the parcel is intended for use for municipal purposes, including, but not limited to, use as an affordable housing unit giving first order of priority for rental to an income-eligible veteran; said use will be managed by the Framingham Housing Authority; that the Mayor is authorized to acquire by gift, purchase or eminent domain, permanent easements and temporary construction easements or other interests in land for said acquisition; that the Mayor is authorized to make and determine alterations and improvements to the parcel for municipal purposes; and that the Mayor is authorized to take all actions necessary or convenient to carry out the purposes of this order. .
