Councilor Stewart-Morales pointed out two typos. Councilor Cannon accepted those as friendly amendments. He asked what the intent of sending an item to the subcommittee when one Councilor votes no on an item. Councilor Stefanini explained sending it to the subcommittee would prevent a lengthy discussion with no resolution. His comments continued about the intent of the procedure. Councilor Stewart-Morales expressed concern if the "without further discussion" could be challenging while determining which subcommittee it should be referred to. Other than that, he was fine with the proposal. Councilor Alexander asked how would that be determined. Councilor Stefanini said if it related to Public Safety, it would be referred to the Public Safety Subcommittee and so on. The conversation continued. Councilor Leombruno called a roll call vote: Moved by Michael P. Cannon; seconded by Christine Long to Approve First Reading
