3. ©0302-25 Public Hearing/s/ Councilor Stephanie Martins, as President A petition from National Grid requesting permission to install 1 JO pole (#2056-1) to alleviate the leaning pole conditions on McKinley Street Jose Luis Isertia from National Grid explained they need to install a pole on the other side of the sidewalk from the leaning pole and anchor it to pull the leaning pote straight. This is the only solution to fix the current loading on the pole which is causing it to lean. Replacing the existing pole would not fix the issue. Councilor Pietrantonio expressed concern about setting a precedent of adding poles to anchor leaning poles, but the petitioner explained this is a one-time scenario due to the existing overhead cable design that is no longer used.
