“Ms. Tarka moved. Mr. Smadbeck seconded. Unanimous. Mr. Smadbeck then recognized Woody Filley and Sakiko Isomichi who were presenting the Sustainable Materials Recovery Program Waste Reduction Grant. Ms. Isomichi stated that they had three areas to concentrate on: 1. Recycling 2. Series of talks on waste reduction .” (Motion: Tarka, second: Smadbeck)

“Ms. Tarka moved to approve the grant plan. Mr. Smadbeck seconded. Unanimous. The Board then approved the Waste Reduction Grant plan for the MV Refuse District as well. Mr. Smadbeck then recognized Ms. Kara Shemeth for the next item. Ms. Shemeth stated that they would like to add a bike trail portion to the Chappy P2P. She has spoken with t.” (Motion: Tarka, second: Smadbeck)

The Board then approved the following items without any discussion: Annual Catboat Parade and Events — July 18" One Day Liquor Licenses for: Eisenhauer Gallery — Artist Receptions - 5/23, 7/17 , & 8/11 Friends of the Edgartown Library — Fashion Show — 7/18 Christi.” (Motion: Tarka, second: Smadbeck)
