“Alexander Cestaro made a motion to approve the procedure and the letter revised Aimée Eckman seconded the motion DISCUSSION: Concerns about putting the Chair in the situation to call the applicants about the denial were raised. Is this putting the Chair in a bad situation? Should this be discussed by the interviewers once the decision is made? The Board discussed the concerns in detail and confirmed that the decision to call is suggested to the Chair but not required. If the Chair is comfortable calling the declined applicant, they should call. If they are not, they do not have to.
