Multi-family Housing Overlay By-law amendment proposal until Spring Town Meeting in May 2024
Move the Multi-family Housing Overlay By-law amendment proposal until Spring Town Meeting in May 2024
“John Terrio made a motion to move the Multi-family Housing Overlay By-law amendment proposal until Spring Town Meeting in May 2024. Jim Plath seconded. Jim Plath stated that he seconded the motion because the overlay needs more work, and he's unsure how the by-law amendment could be ready in time for Fall Town Meeting because of inadequate time for Select Board and members of public to digest. Town Counsel Giorgio noted repetitive zoning Carlyn Carey stated we have used the Town Meeting as a deadline twice now and have pushed the deadline back twice, so should we have a deadline at all. Jim Plath supported a deadline. The Board voted unanimously in favor. VOTE: 5-0-0.” (Motion: Terrio, second: Plath)
