Question of accepting a Community Planning Grant for $85,000 to support the Babcock Street Lot Housing Feasibility Study, and authorize the Town Administrator to act as the signatory for any contracts or associated documents related to the grant. Town Administrator Carey acknowledged some advocating for a possible land swap between where Fire Station 5 is being rebuilt, and the Babcock St. parcel being considered. The way the project is operating, we can only have so many fire stations down at a time. The timing would not work; it was noted that both parcels are town owned.
