Board member VanScoyoc spoke on the proposed closing hours. He noted an email against this request from a town meeting member. He feels there should be a consistent policy on restaurant hours instead of approving them piecemeal. Board member Warren added that there are two other establishments in the neighborhood with a 2:00 am closing hour. The board spoke about the proximity of residential neighbors. Board member VanScoyoc wondered what would happen next, can another 2:00 am request come in and then another? Another consideration is outdoor seating, will that be allowed until 2:00am. It was noted that should density happen in the community this would have to be considered. Approved Aye: Bernard Greene, Miriam Aschkenasy, Michael Sandman, Paul Warren Against: John VanScoyoc.”
