To approve Proposition 2 1/ 2 Override Ballot Question and place the question on the May 21St ballot : " Shall the Town of Brewster be allowed to assess an additional $ 309 ,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purpose of creating one ( 1 ) Program Coordinator Position within the Council on Aging, 1 ) Natural Resource Officer within the Natural Resources Department, and two ( 2) Firefighter/paramedic positions within the Fire Department, and related benefit expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1 , 20199 "

Lombardi is sworn in as Town Administrator .Selectperson deRuyter second .Selectperson deRuyter thanked Mr .Forest for being amendable to this agreement .Motion was amended to include the title ofthe position as municipal services consultant . "Selectperson Chaffee supports the proposition completely with the expert leadership ofMr .Forest, and anticipates a stellar Town Administrator coming .The faster Mr .Lombardi is brought up to speed, the quicker Mr .Forest can get back to his other activities .This will ensure a smooth transition. Selectperson Whitney as well feels it will be important to overlap to for Mr .Lombardi to be consulted on the knowledge Mr .Forest has of Brewster .Mr .Forest has enjoyed this opportunity immensely .
