Steele McCurdy to the position of Boxborough's Fire Chief, which includes appointment as Fire Chief, Fire Warden, Emergency Management Director, Dispatch Center Co-Director, Roy Custance Scholarship Administrator and Records Access Officer, conditional as to successful completion of contract negotiations and the pre-screening process, including but not limited to a background check, and pre-employment drug test and physical examination to determine the candidate's fitness to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Appointment shall be through June 30, 2022, with a start date to be determined through contract negotiations. Seconded by Member Fowlks. Approved 4-0-1 (Stemple Recused)
