Accept the consent agenda
To accept the consent agenda. Mr. Meier said that he wanted to hear from the DPW Director, Matt Sawicki, about the 2 projects that are coming out of Chapter 90. Mr. Sawicki said that regarding Presidents Road, and Lamount Road, that last year they were asked to do an engineering study of safety improvements for this intersection. He said that they were given 3 options: one was just painting, and they didn't feel that was a worthwhile option, the second was a roundabout which the cost was not going to be feasible for the long term. He said the third option was adding some curbing and pulling the intersection out. He said that the third option is something that they can do most of the work in-house. They will need to get an engineered plan for the curbing portion.
