Motion: A motion was made by S. Copeland and seconded by J. Livingston that the Select Board enter into Executive Session pursuant to G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21A Exemption #6 to consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value or real property if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the Select Board with respect to property of the Sullivan Investment Trust, West Main Street, Ayer, Massachusetts (Assessor's Map 25-11) and to reconvene in Open Session at the conclusion of the Executive Session. C. Tavares stated that as Chair J do declare that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the Select Board. Roll Call Vote to enter Executive Session: C. Tavares, Yes; J. Livingston, Yes; S. Copeland, Yes.

Motion: A motion was made by S. Copeland and seconded by J. Livingston to call a Special Town Meeting to take place on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 7pm in the Auditorium of the Ayer Shirley Regional High School and to approve the Special Town Meeting Warrant which contains the Warrant Article for the West Main Street Bridge Project as presented; and to further authorize the , Town Manager to revise the explanatory note for the Warrant Article to include the size of the easement area and to reference the grant of an easement on Town-owned property for the benefit of the private property owner to legally access and maintain their existing billboard; and to close the Special Town Meeting Warrant for July 13, 2026. Motion Passed (3-0).
