Authorize the Town Administrator to sign the 5 year lease with community leasing partners to refinance the 2017 Rosenbauer Commander FX Pumper

Minutes, page 1 · Video

ApprovePassed · Unanimous, 3 present

Doug moved to authorize the Town Administrator to sign the 5 year lease with community leasing partners to refinance the 2017 Rosenbauer Commander FX Pumper. Seconded by Jessica. Further discussion ensued. Town Administrator Mary Daughraty explained that when she began her role, she was tasked with addressing a lease that included a balloon payment of $385,000. Since the Town does not have the funds to cover that payment, refinancing was necessary. She coordinated with the current leasing company and secured a five-year lease that the Town can afford. The annual payment will be around $86,000, which was already included in the fiscal year 2025 budget in anticipation of this refinance. Doug votes yes. David voted yes. Jessica voted yes. Motion passes
